Transart Institute extends deadline, announces new scholar****ps and
last year of advanced standing policy.
Danube University Krems Scholar****ps deadline extended until June
1st.
Two 50% scholar****ps will be awarded to students from Eastern Europe.
Award Conditions: "Danube University Krems regards advanced education
as a social and educational challenge. Our goal is to offer
postgraduate University education of the highest standard for all
those persons who view lifelong learning as a personal necessity.
Therefore, for every offered course Danube University Krems offers two
scholar****ps from its own resources. The study grant is focused on
applicants from eastern Europe and future member countries of the
European Union. There is no age limit for application."
Seven New Transart Institute scholar****ps with a deadline of June
1st.
One 50% scholar****p (EUR 9.600) will be awarded. Awards will be made
to accepted students on a basis of both, academic/artistic merit and
financial need to one artist from a developing country. A list of
countries can be found here. Award recipient must maintain
satisfactory academic progress and not have violated any academic
standards and policies. Tuition scholar****ps are payed directly to
Donau University once students have payed their ****tion of the
tuition. Note: scholar****ps do not cover travel or accommodation
expenses and are for 50% of the yearly tuition. Students are
responsible for finding additional assistance resources if needed. All
scholar****p applicants are evaluated by a scholar****p selection
committee.
Three $2000 and three $1000 scholar****ps will be awarded.
Awards will be made to accepted students on a basis of both, academic/
artistic merit and financial need. Award recipients must maintain
satisfactory academic progress and not have violated any academic
standards and policies. Tuition scholar****ps are payed directly to
students once they have payed their full tuition to DUK. All
scholar****p applicants are evaluated by a scholar****p selection
committee.
2009 final year for awards of advanced standing of one year
This is the final year the program can award two semesters of advanced
standing for graduate work done in other institutions. Beginning in
2009, Transart Institute will award advanced standing for a maximum of
one semester.
