Graduate program

by jlake@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mar 25, 2007 at 10:47 AM

I have been in the IT business for over 20 years now and am finally
(kids are grown and off on their own, more or less!) gettng back to
fini****ng my undergraduate degree in computer science.

I will be starting a consultant position soon and, with the travel
involved, am looking at an on-line degree program.

1. Are on-line degrees as respected as regular on-campus type degrees?
I'm not doing this for the job or career as I am for my own desire to
finish what I started so many years ago so this may not be a big issue
for me but question #2 might be...

2. How would an on-line undergrad degree look like if and when I
should apply to a grad school for a M.S. program, if I decide to
pursue it? Do grad programs prefer an in-house degree as opposed to an
on-line one?

Thanks for any and all advice.
