I have three kids one who graduated from a four year college, one who
went to cosmetology school and one who is still attending college. We
have received loans from filling out the FAFSA but mostly it states
that our EFC is way more than we could possibly afford. Are there
things that I am missing when filling out the FAFSA that is preventing
us from receiving financial aid? It is not that complicated of a form
basically you put in your income the student's income and some other
basic information. Should we classify our son as an independent
student? Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.
